Brownsville, PA (May 5, 2021) – The FARM at Greater Washington County Food Bank is excited to announce the return of The FARMer’s Market, beginning June 1st and occurring every Tuesday from 4PM to 7PM through the end of October. Launching in 2020, The FARMer’s Market immediately became a staple for local farmers and vendors, providing everything from fresh produce, meat and dairy products, baked goods, sweets and snacks, and even food trucks. This year, The FARMer’s Market will be expanding into local hand-made crafts as well as weekly activities relating to the national day, such as National Milk Day, that the market falls upon with educational activities provided by Healthy Habits Training Center.
Returning vendors for 2021 include crowd favorite Joppie Gyro’s as well as fresh produce and hydroponic produce grown on-site by The FARM, along with many more being confirmed. Every week at the market there will be a variety of vendors, including but not limited to, What’s to Eat Mama?, Joy’s Creations, Marie’s Exotic Reptile Rescue, The Fudge Guy, Young Living Essential Oils, and more.
The Farmer’s Market is still accepting new vendors for the 2021 season. As an affordable farmers market, focusing on bring the community together, vendor fees are only $40/month. New for this year, local craft vendors are welcomed to join our market, providing local, homemade crafts and décor.
